Spa Interclub Print Championship 2025

On Saturday 6th November the club took part in the Surrey Photographic Association Interclub Print Championship 2025. This marked our return to this competition after an absence of about 7 years. We entered both the Open(16 prints) and Nature(8 prints) categories. We competed against 18 clubs in the open category and 20 clubs in the nature category. I am pleased to report that we put up a an excellent performance in the open category scoring 188 points out of a possible 240 which placed us 6th only 4 points behind the Winner, Godalming, who scored 192. This was a great result of which the entire club should be very proud of.

In the Nature category we did fare quite as well but still put in a respectable performance considering many of the clubs we competed against are specialist in Nature photography. We finished 15th on 90 points 15 behind the winner, Bookham on 105. Two of our entries from Sue and Kim for their Harvest Mouse images achieved a 5/5 from one of the 3 judges.
